Ceramic artist Lynne McDowell admires some of the artwork at The Serigraph.
The Serigraph, a small gallery in Neerim South, is featuring a collection of works by several local artists inspired by "The Vase".
The pieces are composed of different mediums and are in different styles.
Christine Cochran's lively compositions play with colour and texture, and Keith Graham's odd shapes are composed of recycled timber. Other works in different mediums by Kay Lancashire, Lynne McDowell, Arnaud Barraud, Phil Henshall, Daphne Mihan and Marilyn Rodwell, also pay homage to the vase, which is often the accessory – but here it becomes the main character.
The Serigraph Gallery in Neerim South is open weekends and Easter Monday, March 18 to April 10, 10am to 4pm or by appointment, please call 0490387278.
