Popular Australian showbiz couple Frankie J Holden and Michelle Pettigrove will share their special show "How Sweet It Is" in Warragul on Saturday, April 23.
The 2.30pm show will be held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre.
"This is a show that my wife Michelle and myself have been performing for at least 10 or 12 years," Holden told the Gazette.
"(It's about) marriage and having children and generally getting through life together; the struggles, laughs and a lot of loving. A lot of our personal story is in the show. It's a chance for the audience to get to know us.
"Our story is told through the medium of songs, character sketches and general repartee. It's also very funny because life is very funny."
The stories of their life and love are wrapped up with a broad range of songs people know and love, from Holden's rock group "Ol'55" to Johnny O'Keefe and Ella Fitzgerald.
Michelle is best known for her three-year role as Kate Bryant in Australian drama "A Country Practice" and numerous other television appearances on "Brides of Christ", "Home and Away", "Blue Heelers" and "City Homicide".
Frankie J got his start in OL'55 and has created some of Australian television's most memorable characters through leading roles in "Police Rescue", "Round The Twist", "Something In The Air", "Underbelly" and recently "A Place To Call Home". As a television presenter, he was part of the team on "The Great Outdoors" and hosted "In Melbourne Tonight".
The couple now live in Pambula Beach in New South Wales and own Tathra Beachside. They are excited to hit the road and return to live performing after the COVID hiatus.
"We really felt for all the Vics, so we're really happy to come down and get started in Gippsland," Holden added.
Tickets are $38 for general, $35 for concession, $32 for members and $25 for youth under 18.
