HSCC visit WGAC

Fresh off their US tour, Adelaide-based cover band "The Hindley Street Country Club" will perform at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Thursday, May 15 as part of national theatre tour "Just Gets Better".
Formed in 2017 by arranger and producer Constantine "Con" Delo, "The Hindley Street Country Club" (The HSCC) started as a group of Adelaide musicians who recorded re-arranged covers of well known songs before uploading them to Facebook and YouTube each week.
In 2024, The HSCC shot to the top after featuring in an episode of "A Current Affair". The group have amassed more than 590 million YouTube views and one million subscribers globally whilst accumulating more than a billion views across social media platforms.
"Over seven years we'd built this huge following from over a billion views worldwide, yet we seemed to be hiding in plain sight," Con said. "That all changed (in 2024), not just because what's unfolded over 2024, but what lies ahead given the opportunities presented daily for HSCC in 2025. It's all quite surreal."
Since the "A Current Affair" story aired, the group have performed more than 52 concerts to more than 60,000 fans, receiving rapturous audience responses each night.
"I've not seen anything like the audience reaction Hindley Street receives night after night," co-manager Michael Chugg said. "It's incredible. Their live show has to be seen to be believed."
Co-manager Mark Pope described The HSCC live shows as "all killer, no filler".
"The sheer talent that springs off that stage from all 11 members is so next level," he said. "There's something intangible that can only be described as pure joy. The feeling coming from the stage each night is both infectious and joyful."
"The Hindley Street Country Club" will perform at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Thursday, May 15 at 8:10pm.
