Aiming for success

Warragul sharpshooter Darcie George will be aiming for gold when she represents Australia at the World Rimfire and Air Rifle Benchrest Federation World Cup later this year.
Darcie, 17, will be competing internationally for the first time following an outstanding 2024 that saw her claim four national records and eight state records amidst a myriad of event wins.
The 10-day event is set to take place in Finland in August and will see Darcie join as one of the team's two junior members, competing in the benchrest. She will be shooting in several different disciplines in benchrest, including Rimfire Rifle Heavy, Rimfire Light, Air Rifle Heavy, Air Rifle Light and Rimfire International Sporter.
