Leos offer support

Members of Drouin Secondary College’s Leos Club were out and about in the town’s shopping centre last week lending support to the annual Legacy Week badges sales. It was the third year the club has assisted Central Gippsland Legacy’s fundraising.

Teen dies after crash

The Drouin Secondary College community was in shock last week at the loss of Georgia Larsen, 15 of Garfield, who they described as “vivacious, sparkly and enthusiastic.”

Merlino inspects schools

One of the areas at Drouin Secondary School modernised in recent years, a commercial standard kitchen utilised for hospitality training and for serving restaurant meals to local groups that make bookings, caught the eye of Minister for Education James Merlino and Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing during a tour of inspection last week.
