Students at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School participated in their school's athletics carnival at Joe Carmody Track at Newborough recently.
Students were divided into four house colours and represented their teams as they participated in a number of athletic events.
The day began with a whole school warm up to music led by Mia Scanlon from You and Mia Fitness in Trafalgar.
The students then participated in running events including hurdles, sprints and 200 metre running races. After this the students rotated around field events including high jump, discus and ball games. Taryn Maxwell-Garratt organised the day for the school community.
