Rates hike hits pensioner

Willow Grove pensioner Barbara Needham says an increased rates notice, indicating that her property has jumped $40,000 in value, will put pressure on her financially.

Sewer upgrade complete

St Paul’s claim bronze

The St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School under 20s girls basketball team recently won bronze in division one at Basketball Australia’s 2017 Australian Schools Championships. This is the second consecutive year the St Paul’s girls team has finished amongst the medals.

Drouin bowl in heat

Drouin third Shirley Woodville bowls against Longwarry in the last round of WGBD midweek pennant before the Christmas break. 

It was a very hot, sticky Tuesday for all the bowlers with Drouin’s results proving it. Drouin had one convincing win and two losses for the last round before the Christmas break. Division one: Drouin 16/77 defeated Yallourn 0/46. M.
