Darcy Nicholls served his way to success in the boys 12 and under singles of the recent Victorian Schoolboy and Schoolgirl Championships.

The championships, held at the Boroondara Tennis Centre in North Balwyn, were part of the Silver Series Junior Tour Tournament.

Darcy is currently in year six at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School and has been playing tennis since the age of six.

The five-day tournament attracted a total of 90 boys in the 12 and under age category.  Darcy was seeded number one and qualified straight through to the main draw.

In hot and windy 30 degree conditions, the final match for Darcy was close.  However, he finished on top to become the 2015 singles winner in the boys 12 and under.
