Local schools were well represented as Warragul and Drouin citizens gathered last Wednesday to mark Remembrance Day.

They were solemn occasions in the wake of the 100th anniversary a few months earlier of the Anzac campaign at Gallipoli.

RSL representatives laid wreaths at the cenotaphs in honour of those who lost their lives in the First World War.
