Students at Longwarry Primary School feted principal Paula Johnston with gifts on Friday as part of principal’s day celebrations.

An education department initiative held every year, principal’s day recognises and celebrates the hard work of principals and the support of staff, students and the wider school community.

The school held a morning tea before each class presented Mrs Johnston with a gift at an assembly in the afternoon.

Students also performed a dance to conclude the celebrations.
