Students at Neerim District Rural Primary School in Nayook had a brilliant start to their week with snow falling on Monday morning.
Teacher Sarah O’Brien said it snowed for 25 minutes, with a great covering for the children to play in.
Light snow also fell at Neerim Junction and on the Strzelecki Ranges but was gone by midday.

Neerim District Rural Primary School students, including Ethan Gunstone, Oscar Morris, Flynn Lockett, Leo Slattery, and Stella Darcy, revelled in the first snowfall of the season.
